Are you receiving all the benefits you are entitled to?  Our trained staff is available to assist you in sorting through what can often times be very confusing  and overwhelming. The Senior Center is a place where older adults and their caregivers feel safe to come in to address whatever issue they may be dealing with and staff is there to offer guidance in helping them find the answers to these issues. During a one on one appointment, clients are provided with the latest information, assistance, and options that are available.  Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Health & Prescription Benefits Check-Up
  • Housing
  • Heating Assistance
  • SNAP Program (formerly the Food Stamp Program)
  • Home and Community Care Options
  • Living Wills and Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care
  • Retirement Planning
  • Low-Income Subsidy Assistance for prescriptions
  • Medicare Savings Program
  • Medicare/Medical Assistance
  • Eligibility Screening for Federal, State, and Local programs
  • Identity Theft Prevention and ConsumerProtection Counseling
