Monthly Mattress and E-Waste Collection

This is just a friendly reminder that on this  Saturday, December 3rd  we will be holding our Free Mattress and E-waste collection event.

MTG (our refuse hauler) will be in the lot across the street from City Hall collecting  Mattresses, Box Springs, Computers and Electronics from 8:00 AM-10:30 AM, free of charge for Pawtucket Residents.  Please advise all residents that no household trash, hazardous waste or appliances will be accepted.  Mattress and Box Spring collection is for PAWTUCKET residents only. NO ITEMS WILL BE COLLECTED AFTER 10:30 AM.

Electronic waste is for residents as well as non-residents.

This FREE program has seen more and more participants each month and we expect that trend to continue.  Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the above verbiage and feel free to share it with family, friends and neighbors who reside in Pawtucket.

I have attached a flyer containing more information on what is accepted for e-waste considering that some items may include a disposal fee.  If you need further information or specifics, please feel free to reach out as we are here to help in any way.

In addition, there are Big Brother/Big Sister Bins located across from City Hall in the parking lot, in the Senior Center lot and also in the DPW parking lot for donating gently used clothes and shoes.
