Mayor Grebien Seeks Pawtucket Residents Interested in Serving on City Boards and Commissions

Mayor Donald R. Grebien announced that the City is once again seeking letters of interest and availability from Pawtucket residents who wish to serve on one of the numerous boards and commissions.

“Serving on a board or commission is a great way for residents to share their unique perspectives, backgrounds and expertise with their local government,” said Mayor Grebien. “From the arts to the riverfront to the library, we rely and value the role that our residents can play in helping us to move our great city forward. I encourage our residents to apply.”

Pawtucket residents at least 18 years of age interested in applying can send a letter indicating which board or commission they would like to serve with their general availability and resume to the Mayor’s Office, Pawtucket City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, 02860 or send by email to mayorsoffice@pawtucketri.com. Submissions should be received by Friday, January 19, 2018.

A full list of the boards and commissions is available on the City’s Web site at http://www.pawtucketri.com/boards-commissions. All appointments are subject to available openings.

Information sent by anyone who has previously submitted to serve remains on file for consideration and does not have to re-submitted unless they wish to update their resume or the boards and commissions on which they would like to serve.
