Updated Alert: National Grid Work in Pawtucket Postponed until March 2

Update from National Grid 2/27/17 12:00 p.m

National Grid is postponing work until Thursday, March 2 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  due to the inclement weather predicted for tomorrow (2/28). Electrical service will be interrupted for 4 hours. If you have any issues, please call National Grid at 1-800-322-3223.

Dear Customer:

National Grid is committed to delivering safe, reliable electric service to our customers. To make improvements to our electrical distribution system, we will be working in your neighborhood on Tuesday February 28th beginning at 9:00AM until approximately 1:00PM. For our crews to work on our equipment safely, it will be necessary to interrupt your electrical service for approximately 4 hours. We regret the temporary inconvenience. We are providing you and your neighbors with one week’s notice so that that you may make any necessary provisions to minimize the discomfort associated with the temporary loss of power.

This work will be rescheduled in the event of inclement or extreme weather (above 90 degrees or below 20 degrees) or unexpected events on our system. In the event that National Grid must reschedule, our work will be performed on Thursday March 2nd beginning at 9:00AM until approximately 1:00PM. In the event of inclement weather on both days, our work will be performed on Tuesday March 7th, for the same time period.
