Pawtucket Cooling Centers

Due to the extreme heat anticipated for the area today, Wednesday, August 11th and Thursday, August 12th, Pawtucket's Cooling Centers will consist of the Blackstone Valley Visitors Center, Senior Center, and a mobile Cooling Center on Roosevelt Avenue. Please share this information and encourage everyone to stay safe.
Pawtucket Cooling Centers
To help keep people cool and safe during the hot months. Cooling shelters are available to members of the general public who may lack access to air conditioning.
 
The Blackstone Valley Visitor Center

Open 7 days a week 9:00am-5:00pm
 
Pawtucket EMA Mobile Cooling Center
Roosevelt Avenue
Open between

12:00pm -3:00pm

 
The Leon Mathieu Senior Center
420 Main Street
Monday through Friday 8:30am -4:00pm
