Mayor Grebien Welcomes Pawtucket’s Newest Business with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Mayor Donald R. Grebien and Councilors Mary Bray and Mark Wildenhain celebrated the opening of Pawtucket’s newest business, Friends of Toto, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 245 Esten Avenue on Saturday, November 5.

Friends of Toto is a group of dedicated animal care professionals specializing in today’s demands for boarding, day care, and grooming led by owner Robert Wheeler. Mayor Grebien addressed the crowd as a citation was presented recognizing Friends of Toto as Pawtucket’s newest business.

“I want to thank Robert Wheeler and his dedicated staff for choosing Pawtucket as they assist people in providing a place like home for man’s best friend,” said Mayor Grebien. “I am very pleased to welcome Friends of Toto to the City of Pawtucket and I am thrilled that they have chosen to Join the Evolution,” continued the Mayor.

“It’s exciting to be one of the kennel operators in Pawtucket. As a resident and pet owner, I know how important it is to have a facility that is dedicated to the safety, cleanliness, and general peace of mind in the area. We have over 800 registered dogs in our city that I’m hoping we can be that needed outlet for.” stated Robert Wheeler.

The ribbon was then cut to a round applause and the doors were officially open to the public. Friends of Toto is located at 245 Esten Avenue, Pawtucket. They can be contacted by calling 401-722-8686. For more information, visit their website at http://friendsoftoto.com/.
