Message From the City of Pawtucket and the Pawtucket Police Department
The safety and well-being of all of our residents is of utmost importance. Working with other communities, the implementation of a curfew will be in effect, from 8:30 pm today, June 2nd until 5 am tomorrow, June 3rd out of an abundance of caution for our residents.
The City and Police Department stand together and strongly condemn the actions that caused the death of George Floyd. The Pawtucket community is diverse and we remain ever-committed to our focus on community-based initiatives.
Again, a curfew will be in effect from 8:30 pm today, June 2nd until 5 am tomorrow, June 3rd.
The City and Police Department cannot and will not allow the destruction of the property of the diverse community we serve.
Thank you.
