German Flag Raising Ceremony

Please join the City of Pawtucket and the German American Cultural Society of Rhode Island in a Flag Raising Ceremony. German cultural associations and social societies were started here in Rhode Island over a 100 years ago by German immigrants to serve the needs of the German community and help their fellow neighbors assimilate. Our very own German Club on Carter Avenue, has had a major role in maintaining the German American influence here in the Blackstone Valley and continues to do so.
