City Announces Postponement of Community Meeting

June 11 Meeting at Varieur School to Take Place November 19

Pawtucket – The City of Pawtucket has announced that the June 11 Community Meeting at Varieur School has been postponed and will take place on November 19th at 6:00 p.m.

To promote more open dialogue between the City of Pawtucket and the residents of Pawtucket, Mayor Donald R. Grebien and other officials from City Hall, are holding a series of community meetings for constituents and residents. The meetings will take place in each of the city’s districts where citizens will be able to meet, engage and ask questions of city officials.

“I’m looking forward to meeting with residents to hear their suggestions and concerns, and what they want to see in their community,” said Mayor Grebien. “There are many exciting things happening in Pawtucket, but I believe that there is always room for improvement. I encourage all residents to attend.”

The meeting will feature a brief presentation by various City team members, updating residents on issues facing Pawtucket, followed by an open question and answer period.
