Front Street Brownfields Cleanup Project

The Pawtucket Redevelopment Agency has received $600,000 in funding from the United States Environmental Protection Agency, through their Brownfields Cleanup Grant program, for cleanup work at 164, 183 and 210 Front Street (Plat 20, Lots 5,9, and 13), Pawtucket, RI. Environmental investigations have determined the presence of hazardous materials on this approximately 1.7-acre site. A portion of this site will be redeveloped into part of the Blackstone Valley Bike path and the remainder of this site will be redeveloped according to the City of Pawtucket Riverfront Zoning Map.
