HOSPITAL ZONE RESIDENT STICKERS

Hospital Zone Parking Stickers are required for residents to park on the streets in the Hospital Zone. These stickers allow residents a place to park on the street in front of their homes.

A. The Hospital Zone shall include all but not be limited to the following:

  • (1) Arch Street, from Rhode Island Avenue to Meadow Street.
  • (2) Beechwood Avenue.
  • (3) Brewster Street from intersection of Rhode Island Avenue to Division Street.
  • (4) Chestnut Street.
  • (5) Englewood Avenue.
  • (6) Linwood Avenue from School Street to Brewster Street.
  • (7) Meadow Street from Young Street to School Street.
  • (8) Melrose Avenue from Prospect Street to Rhode Island Avenue.
  • (9) Norton Street.
  • (10) Pond Street, from Brewster Street to Kepler Street.
  • (11) Prospect Street from Melrose Avenue to Meadow Street.
  • (12) Rhode Island Avenue from Exeter Avenue to Pond Street
  • (13) Rosewood Street.
  • (14) School Street from Meadow Street to Englewood Avenue.
  • (15) South Street from Meadow Street to Division Street.
  • (16) Summit Street from Division Street to Pond Street.
  • (17) Woodland Street.
  • (18) Young Street.

    B. Border streets shall be in the Hospital Zone in their entirety on both sides for the purpose of this chapter.

    In order to obtain a Hospital Zone Sticker please mail the Hospital Zone Application by Mail or apply in person to the City Clerk’s Office with a copy of your car registration.

    If the address on your registration matches your current address in the Hospital Zone, you may obtain a Permanent Resident Sticker:
    Current valid RI motor vehicle registration showing the vehicle is registered in the name and address of a person living within the Hospital Zone for each requested vehicle.

    If the address on your registration DOES NOT match your current address in the Hospital Zone, you may obtain a Temporary (60 day) pass:
    Current valid motor vehicle registration showing the name of the resident for each requested vehicle or copy of vehicle rental agreement including the name of the resident; and one of the following: Copy of a current Pawtucket tax bill, utility bill, bank statement, income tax return, pay stub, current deed, or lease/rental agreement addressed in the name of the resident and to that residence.
    One Temporary Parking Pass per vehicle shall be available to new residents who have not changed their address on their motor vehicle registration. This temporary parking pass shall be valid for 60 days and must be returned to the City Clerk’s Office in order to obtain a residential parking sticker.


    Residents who qualify for a permanent sticker are also eligible for ONE Guest Permit per HOUSEHOLD.
